Guided Tours Costa Rica
While our various programs and projects offer the most flexible guided tours Costa Rica has to offer, our itinerary is carefully planned to maximize your time and enjoyment. Our experienced volunteer coordinators and guest services guide you from activity to activity, with transportation and breakfast, lunch and dinner provided.
We have planned early morning excursions, including snorkeling with the sea turtles or riding zip lines through the rain forest canopy, and structured events in the afternoon and evening to get to know your fellow volunteers and coordinators. The breakfast, lunch and dinner menus are handpicked to give you a true flavor of Costa Rican culture and unique cuisine. Like we said, these are the best guided tours Costa Rica has to offer.
Here is what to expect:
Day 1
Arrive at Juan Santamaria Airport in San Jose, Costa Rica –Shuttle Service to the Hotel.
Tour Guides will welcome you at check-in to Studio Hotel located 15 minutes from the airport.
Welcome dinner at Ram Luna Restaurant located in the mountains of Escazu, Costa Rica.
Day 2
Hotel breakfast before leaving for the Costa Rica Animal Rescue Center.
Spend lunch and dinner at the Rescue Center and spend time with the many indigenous animals they save including but not limited to monkeys, sloths, exotic birds and kinkajous.
Return to the Studio Hotel after dinner.
Day 3
Hotel breakfast before leaving for Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve.
Check-in and lunch at El Establo Hotel.
Canopy Tour through the cloud forest in the afternoon.
Dinner at night at El Establo Hotel.
Day 4
Hotel breakfast before leaving for the Suspension (hanging) Bridges through the cloud forest.
Leave Monteverde early afternoon for Manuel Antonio National Park.
Lunch on the water at a popular ship port in Puntarenas.
Arrive/check-in/dinner at Hotel San Bada in Manuel Antonio.
Day 5
Hotel breakfast before leaving for choice of the following: Waterfall tour on horseback, Whitewater Rafting tour, Manual Antonio National Park tour or Manuel Antonio Beach day.
Lunch provided above on each of the tours.
Dinner at the El Avion restaurant overlooking Manuel Antonio forest.
Day 6
Hotel breakfast before leaving for the Osa Peninsula Turtle Sanctuary.
Arrive/check-in/lunch at hotel in Osa.
Turtle orientation in the afternoon at Osa followed by dinner.
Day 7
Breakfast at Osa followed by in-water snorkeling with the turtles.
Leave Osa early afternoon for Crok’s Hotel in Jaco Beach.
Arrive/check-in and then lunch/dinner at all-inclusive Crok’s Hotel.
Day 8
Breakfast/lunch at Crok’s while enjoying the beach/pools until late afternoon.
Leave Crok’s to return to Studio Hotel in San Jose.
Arrive/check-in Studio Hotel with a reception goodbye dinner at the hotel.
Day 9
Breakfast at the hotel.
Shuttle service to the Juan Santamaria Airport.
